As much as I would like to talk to you right now, I frequently am away from the office on professional matters or personal commitments with no one to answer your call.
Don't despair! The best part of my day is talking with clients and other callers. You can be certain that I will get back to you as promptly as I can. I have provided this page to help us agree on expectations concerning when you can expect a return call.

I am time challenged during the week of April 14, 2025.
Due to an all-consuming week out of the office last week, I am severely time constrained this week, putting out fires and simply catching up. Please leave a message and I will do my best to get back to you by the end of the day. ​​​

Just a reminder that record retention policies recommended by the bar prevent me from receiving case communicaitons by text. Accordingly, I have disabled SMS features for my professional phones. Please call or email.

My regular office hours are 9 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. The office usually is closed on all holidays observed by local courts. I do not answer my professional cell phone on weekends or holidays but I encourage you to call (804) 725-6818 and to leave a detailed message indicating the subject of your call and when it is convenient for you to receive a return call. If you are calling on a weekend or holiday, I will return your call on the next business day.
