My Education and Experience
For over 40 years, it has been my honor to represent clients throughout the United States. I have tried over 175 jury cases to verdict and nearly 1,0000 bench trials and administrative hearings. After ending my active national practice, I have focused on cases in eastern Virginia, appearing in most circuit courts east of I-95. I currently have an active case load in all civil courts on the Middle Peninsula and Northern Neck.
You can learn more about my trial work here.
In addition to my appellate work in Virginia state and numerous federal courts, I have been privileged to handle cases in the United States Supreme Court.
I am honored to have been chosen repeatedly as a Thomson Reuters Super Lawyer and to Virginia Business Magazine's Legal Elite list. It is also my honor to have been an author for both Lexis and West Publishing.
