My Education and Experience
For over 40 years, it has been my honor to represent clients throughout the United States. I have tried over 175 jury cases to verdict and nearly 1,0000 bench trials and administrative hearings. After ending my active national practice, I have focused on cases in eastern Virginia, appearing in most circuit courts east of I-95. I currently have an active case load in all civil courts on the Middle Peninsula and Northern Neck.

In addition to my appellate work in Virginia state and numerous federal courts, I have been privileged to handle cases in the United States Supreme Court.
I am honored to have been chosen repeatedly as a Thomson Reuters Superlawyer and to Virginia Business Magazine's Legal Elite list. It is also my honor to have been an author for both Lexis and West Publishing.
