Common Sense Advocacy for Property Owners' Associaitons

Volunteer boards for homeowners/property owners’ associations have a tough job that requires the right amount of legal advice from an attorney with experience representing owner’s association boards of directors.

Multiple laws and recorded documents determine what an owners’ association

must do, cannot do, or might be able to do.

Here is an illustration of the various laws and documents that govern these properties.

Altogether, there are more than 250 separate statutes and regulations that govern the typical POA, in addition to organizational documents that often comprise more than more than 50 pages of information. Understanding this complex set of documents and how they work together is not a do-it-yourself project. An attorney skilled in association law can help property owners’ associations navigate this confusing set of laws easily and with minimal risk.

Recognizing that association funds often are limited, I have developed plans for fixed fee representations that cover the most important services that associations need. Please give me a call to discuss how I can help your board do a better job for your membership.
